President Obama met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia in the Oval Office to discuss U.S.-Colombia relations on Monday. It was their first meeting since Obama became President, and was a major about face from Obama's strong concerns voiced on the campaign trail about Colombia's human rights record. They covered a lot of issues in their meeting, including the U.S.-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.We'll have more on this in the coming days, but here is a link to the C-Span video of the joint press briefing that took place on Monday. The president also responded to questions on the situation in Honduras surrounding the ousting of President Manuel Zelaya.
