We've now been in Bogotá, Colombia for over a week, and we're beginning to settle in slowly, but surely.
The first few days have been characterized by running a whole lot of errands designed to make our next six months more or less normal while we're here in the country.
I have not had an opportunity to take in some of the latest news and political developments in the country as a result of these other duties and tasks. But it is clear that things are somewhat different than they were even as recently as two years ago.
We'll have regular notes posted here as I begin my work at the Universidad Javeriana with the students and faculty in the School of Communication. And I also plan to soon make my way south, to Cauca, where I'll continue working with ACIN on their communication projects.
More later!
